Dual Exhaust
Dual exhaust is one of the most requested exhaust upgrades on trucks. A true dual system keeps each side of a V6 or V8 separate all the way back. A split dual setup runs a single pipe most of the way and splits into two outlets near the back. Both look similar from behind but sound different.
Choices we walk through with you:
- True dual or split dual
- Exit style, rear, side, or behind the rear wheels
- Muffler type and how loud you want it
- Whether to add a crossover pipe for a smoother sound
- Tip size and finish
Fit and legality
A dual system has to route around the frame, fuel tank, spare tire, and suspension. On lifted trucks, the routing changes again. We fabricate pipe to fit your vehicle, which is where our welding and fabrication work comes in.
Texas requires a muffler on every vehicle, and emissions equipment must stay in place. A dual conversion keeps the catalytic converters and uses a muffler on each side.

Questions we hear
What is the difference between true dual and split dual?
True dual keeps two separate pipes from the engine to the tips. Split dual uses one pipe for most of the run and splits into two outlets at the back.
Can you put dual exhaust on a V6?
Yes. Many V6 trucks and cars can run a true dual or split dual system.
Will dual exhaust make my truck loud?
It depends on the mufflers. We can build it mild or aggressive.
